Thanks Captain Mike for a great trip. We were fishing Sept 6th and 7th. We caught our limit on the 2nd day, even though Josh was not feeling good and that had nothing to do with the weather. After 2 days of fishing we had 60 walleye. Some were really nice including a 8 or 9 pounder and several not a lot smaller. We had a great time. This was our 1st time fishing lake Erie. Yesterday made about two weeks straight limit catches. Fishing is always good this time of year but this is unreal. Capt Ron Lamont's boat landed a 30.2" walleye that is the big fish of the month for Aug. It could be worth $100.

Just wanted to say our recent trip was the most enjoyable we have had yet. This was our 3rd trip to Erie and I wish I had found your service the previous trips because we definately missed out. Captain Ron gave us an outstanding day of fishing and he treated us just like a fishing buddy and not a rookie tourist, which we all enjoyed and because of his attitude and professionalism we have found a permanent charter with Sea Breeze. Walleye fishing has been up and down (mostly up) the last 2 weeks. It is on fire now! Sea Breeze Boats have limited out the last 2 days with some 27 - 29"ers in the box.

Some Sea Breeze Boats have been limited out by 9AM the last 2 days. They spent the rest of the day catch n release. Capt. Dan's boat had a 28.4" walleye yesterday. Also sorting through alot of 14.5"ers. Next year will be awsome the way it looks.

Yesterday all Sea Breeze Boats took LIMITS of WALLYEY.All drifting and casting spinners tipped with nightcrawlers. NICE FISH TOO

Fishing for walleye has been good the last 10 days or so. We have been running 10 miles but it has been worth it. Still casting spinners tipped with nightcrawlers or trolling spoons on the clam days has been paying off. The big fish for July so far was caught on Capt. Tom's boat 28.8". Good luck everyone!!!

I just wanted to personally thank Sea Breeze Charter’s and Captain Rick for giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful weekend and a very successful fishing trip. My friends and I went fishing on June 20th & 21st 2009, on June 20th it got a little ruff out and Captain Rick still managed to put us on the fish so that we did not have to go home empty handed. I had such a great first experience on Lake Erie and I cannot wait to come back and do it again. The group I went with enjoyed themselves so much we are talking about booking two different fishing trips next year. The lake has been calm so we have been trolling with good luck. If we get a nice breeze we go back to drifting. We do whatever it takes to make you trip fun. Looks like it is going to warm up for the weekend and there is always a chance of rain when that happens this time of year. Walleye bite best in the rain they say. So bring a rainjacket and lets catch some walleye.

Mike Magano won the big fish contest for May ($100) GOOD JOB!!! We have a leader for June allready Larry Gray with a 30.8" Walleye. We are taking limits of walleye almost every day. I can't remember when I ever saw such big fish this time of the year. It is awsome!!! The weather looks good for the weekend too.

Mike Magano caught a 31.6" WALLEYE while fishing with Capt. Tom on the Sea Breeze XI. He took over 1st place in the big fish contest. We have been taking a lot of limit catches of 3 - 4 lb walleye and have seen many over 28" in the past week. The weather looks great for the weekend.

Bob we had a great time on our charter this was the first year that we chartered we always took our own boat and this was the most fish we had caught in the last 4-5 years all together. Captin Jim the x-cop was great he really helped us alot. we didn't limit but was very close both days. he kept us on fish. On the 19th i won the big fish with 28 3/4 9-10lb walleye The lodgeing was great and we are planning on another trip with you next year. we will trying to get more to come with us for 2 boats and 2 lodgeing unit Thank you and your staff for a fun filled fishing trip David Stafford Kentucky

Just wanted to thank you again for our trip on May 15th & 16th. We had a great time again. As always, your captains (Dan, Mike, & Chris), were professional and courteous while also being great fun to fish with. Your boats, and lodging are top notch. Friday the weather didn't cooperate and we didn't catch as many fish as we would have liked but Saturday the weather got better and we slammed them. You can't beat catching 22" or 23" average size walleye. This was our 5th year fishing with Sea Breeze and our trip for next year is already booked and we are already looking forward to it. Took limits of walleye Wed. Lawrance Miner from Milwaukee caught a 31.5" walleye for the BIG FISH CONTEST. If it holds out for the month he will win $100. If it holds out for the year he will win $600 for fishing with Sea Breeze Charters. Our clients took home $1000 in prize money last year. We also have a dailey contest that our clients took home over $5000. Just one more reason to fish with Sea Breeze.

Walleye fishing slowed down and is picking up again. Most boats are comming in with 30 fish. The weather looks good for the weekend, good weather means good fishing.

It was windy out of the south waves were 3 feet most of the time. Most Sea Breeze Boats took limits of 23" to 26" Walleye in short order.

We have had some windy weather this year. When we get out it has been great fishing. This weekend was nice and we took lots of limits of nice walleye. We gave away over $800 in prise money in our daily big fish contest this weekend.

We landed a 32 3/4 " walleye last week. The weather turned bad on Sat. winds calmed down late in the afternoon. Sunday was good again and all Sea Breeze boats took limits. The weather outlook is not too good for the next few days.

The walleye fishing was good over the weeked. Most boats took limits of 3 to 4 lb walleye. We saw several trophys too.

We launched our first boat on Friday. The weather has been good for this time of year. Sat. walleye fishing was good. Sunday and today was ok. We have seen 4 fish over 8bs allready. The weather looks good for the upcomming weekend.

I am sorry that I neglected your fishing report. I guess I got too wraped up in fishing last fall and forgot about it. Sea Breeze Charters did win ALL the money for the Wild Wings fishing contest last year. It is not hard to believe when you have 12 boats on the water every day looking for the big ones. All in all the fall was good. We caught a lot of walleye and perch and smallmouth Bass. Ice fishing was good too we took some big walleye and saw a lot of smaller ones. This is good for the upcomming years. If you heard about the ice breaking off, we were smart enough to stay on shore that day. Looks like that is over for the year. It won,t be long now and the boats will be in the water again!!!!

We have been taking a lot of Walleye and Perch since my last report. The fish are getting biger as the tempes cool. Capt Ted had a 29.5" walleye yesterday.

Still taking limit catches of walleye. We are fishing some of the reefs again. Spinners tiped with night crawlers is working the best.

Shawn Leslie caught a 30.5" WALLEYE while fishing with Capt. Ron on the Sea Breeze 10 boat. It is the new leader on the BIG FISH contest for the month of July. We had some great fishing over the weekend with good winds. No wind yesterday made it slow pickens all over the lake yesterday.

Alan Vajghn caught a 30.2" walleye yesterday with IX. Alan has the big hish of the month now and if it holds up he wins $100. GOOD JOB!!!! We have been taking alot of nice walleye and we are seeing alot of last years hatch (7" - 9"ers). This is great we will have lots of walleye for years to come. It also sounds like this years hatch was good too.

Jeff Richter won the big fish contest for the month of June he is now $100 richer. We also have a big fish that was caught on the #4 boat with Capt. Mike for the month of July. It was a 29.6 inch walleye caught July 4th by Paul Zieba. Sea Breeze Charters has caught the BIG FISH every month so far this year for the Wild Wings Marina contest. It is free and all you have to do is fish with us!

We have a new BIG FISH for June 31.8", caught by Jeff Richter while fishing with Capt. Tom onboard the Sea Breeze XI. He has a good chance to win the $100 for the month of June. He also took the daily Sea Breeze pot of $200 +. Yes, it is going on the wall.

Walleye fishing is still great! I have a hard time making time to update the reports. The weather has been good too.

We did not get out on Tue. due to high winds. Yesterday the wind let up and Otto Flickinger landed a 31.9" WALLEYE onboard Sea Breeze IX with Capt Dan. It it the new leader on the big fish contest for the marina. Otto could win up to $600. Good job!!!

Limmits on all the boats yesterday. Big fish was on Capt. Ron's boat again 27.5" won $220 not too bad.

We have had some windy wet weather this spring but if you can tuff in out the fishing has been great. We are still taking limits of walleye North of West Sister Island.

Night crawlers and spinners are the bait of choice now. We had 2 30" walleye in the last two days.

Yesterday winy cool weather set in. Some of my boats did good in the AM. We are still waiting for the wind to calm so we can get out today.

Fishing is still great!! Lots of nice walleye and good weather. Jiggs are still the best but spinners are going to start working better soon.

We had a little rain today but the fishing was GREAT. Some of my boats had their limits by 10AM. The big fish contest was won on Capt. Ron's boat it was a 25 incher worth $300.

We are still taking limits of walleye every day. The weekend looks good, some rain maybe but the fish are already wet. We catch lots of walleye in the rain!!

Today we caught our limit of walleye in 45 min. We are fishing about 1 mile from the marina. Hair jigs with no bait is the best.

The last 3-4 days we have had limits in less than one hr. Today the big fish was 28 inches 9lbs. The lake has been flat calm , great for jigging!

All of the Sea Breeze Boats had limits today, some were done by 830AM. Some boats caught over 100 walleye today. We had 3 fish that were in the running for the big fish contest and Capt. Jim's boat won the $320 with a 26.5 incher.

We have nice weather and great fishing. The water is clearing up and the walleye are ON! Looks like the weekend will be good too.

Capt. Mike on Sea Breeze 4 had one of his cliants land a 11lb. walleye last weekend. Capt. Dave on the #2 boat had an eight lber too. Some 6-7 lb. walleye were also caught onboard Sea Breeze Boats dispite the cold weather. Looks like it will warm up the middle of the week. All we need is one nice day and the walleye are going to go crazy!!!!!!!

After a slow start due to a late spring we have caught limits of walleye the last two days. They are nice 3 to 4 lb for the most part. Some are over 5lbs. We are fishing less than 1 mile from the marina. Hair jigs are the best.

Looking forward to an early spring, hopefully the weather stays somewhat mild and we can start fishing mid to late march and get some of those pre-spawn hawgs. We will put the boats in as soon as the ice goes away, this can be one of the best times for a trophy.

We have had more great walleye catches this fall than any other year. The weather was bad on Thursday but it turned off great for the weekend. Lots of 100 lb + boxes.

Yesterday was slow but we found a new school of fish close to shore today. We are catching limits of walleye fast again today. The weather has been great too.

Walleye fishing is still great! We have seen alot of trophy walleye already this fall. Good numbers too. Perch have been OK but not as hot as it will get.

We are taking more walleye limits than we ever have at this time of year. Some TROPHY WALLEYE too. It is a little early for trophies, look out as the water starts to cool it will be awesome.

The last several days we have been taking limits of big walleye. Capt. Ron's cooler weighed in at 126 lbs Sunday. Capt Tom has been cashing in boxes of 100 lbs the last three days. Perch are going good too. Capt. Chris had a great bass trip the other day as well. Capt. Eric had the big ones today. The weather has been good also. Lots of combo trips are going on now. Lots of happy clients, that is what is the most important thing.

We have been taking limits of walleye trowling for the last week or so. Perch are still good too. Bass fishing has been good at times and will get better and better as water temps drop.

The perch are going good now limits are almost automatic. Walleye fishing was great yesterday, Capt. Ron took 42 with his group. Most of our clients are fishing Yellow perch and Walleye combo trips. It is a great time for kids as well as for grownups.

We have had great walleye fishing the past 3 days. It was up and down for the past week. It is as good as it gets now.

Capt. John limited out with a group yesterday afternoon only 4 miles out on the reefs. The fish averaged over 3lbs. Weapons and nightcrawlers are the bait of choice.

We have lots of Mayflies and the walleye fishing has slowed down some. We are still taking limits on some of our boats every day.

Over the last week the weaher has been calm and the walleye fish has been great. Walleye are averaging 3 lbs but seeing at least one 25 incher everyday. I had two fish over 26 inches on my boat today.

The #9 boat with Capt. Dan took a 29.3" WALLEYE yesterday. It is the biggest one so far this month. If it holds out it is worth $100 to the guy that landed it. Weather could not be better. Limits are comming in less than 3hrs.

We have had calm water the last few days. The fish are still active but you have to cast and retrieve for them. You have to keep the spinner going. One of my boats trollled for a limit yesterday and the others caught them all casting.

we have had great weather the last several days. Great weather brings great fishing. Yesterday afternoon we boated some 5-6 lbers. Some scatered showers are in the weekend forecast. Bring your rain gear. It should not change the good bite.

Today was good walleye fishing. Most of my boats took limits or close to it. The lake was calm and you had to cast to catch fish. The last two days we caught 40 - 100 walleye per boat.

We missed Sunday (heavy winds) but we have been taking limits of nice walleye since. We have seen a lot of 27" plus this week. We are catching them on spinners and nightcrawlers now.

We have had North East winds yesterday and today looks like the same Sat. We still plan to fish, I do not think it will be too bad. The walleye were bitting good yesterday. Most of my boats had limits by 8AM. Still catching them on jigs.

The walleye limit is now 6 per per per persom. We had our limit today in 1 hr. Nice 3 pounders still on jigs. The weather looks good for the weekend.

We have had AWESOME fishing for the last week. Today we had enough walleye for a limit in 20 min. The sun was not all the way up yet! We must have caught at least 100 in 3 hrs. The biggest walleye today was 27".

We took our limit today in less than 30 min. We spent the rest of the day looking for a BIG ONE. We went through about 150 walleye but nothing over 5 pounds on my boat. Some of my other boats came in with several fish over 29". The walleye are on fire just 1/2 mile from our marina.

Looks like great weather is in the long range forecast for a change. The walleye fishing has been great for the last 4 days. Limits of 3-4 pounders. Capt Tom on Sea Breeze 11 took one over 30 yesterday with a group from Ca.

One of the guys on Capt. Dan's boat (sea Breeze IX) caught a 30.5 inch walleye on Sat. Most of our boats limited that day too. It is too windy to fish today but it looks like we will get out Tuesday. The weekend forecast looks good.

We had some bad weather last week with high winds and cold temps. The weather is good now and so is the fishing. Jigs in 12 foot of water is best.

We have been taking limit catches of walleye for the last 4 days. 8lbs is the biggest so far. We still have some chunks of ice out there but the fishing is great. It has been nice weather too, calm water and near 70.

We have been catching a lot of walleye through the ice for the past three weeks. Hot sopts are round reef and A-can. Most walleye are 17 to 22 inches. We have taken some HOGS too. Boats will go in after ice out!

Perch fishing was great this fall but the weather was not so great. I guess it may be some kind of payback for all the good weather we had all spring and summer. This was by far the best year ever fishing and weather up till Oct. See you in the spring!!!!

Fall fishing has been good this year. October weather has not been good. We seem to get at least one or two cold fronts every week lately. Perch will still bite but it seems like the walleye are turning on and another cold front comes. We have about 2 weeks left, hopefully the weather holds!

We have fished everyday but one this August and it has been the best that I can remember. Perch are in full swing. We are taking advantage of the new 40 perch limit. Capt. Chris took a limit of eyes yesterday.

Walleye are almost jumping in the boat. The big fish for the month is still 30.4".

I took the Evers familly out this weekend and the took home over 100 walleye. The biggest one was 26". The weather was great and all 10 of my boats had lots of fish.

Still doing Great. Lots of nice walleye and good weather. The big fish on the board for June is 30.3"

I have not had time to update my reports as mutch as I would like to. Walleye fishing is still GREAT. This is the best year that I can remember for at least 20 years.

Mayflies are starting to hatch and the walleye are still aggressive. Capt. Chris has had limit catches on his last 16 trips. Walleye are averaging 2 to 5 lbs. We are only going out 5 miles to catch fish.

It is official Bob Harris won the $100 prize for the big fish in May. If his 30.8” fish holds out to be the biggest of the year he will win a total of $600. Good job Bob! We are on the leader board for June with a 27.2” whopper. Still taking limits of nice walleye on spinners and night crawlers.

Walleye are still going great. We have seen a lot of Fish Ohio’s (28” or bigger) in the last two weeks. The weather has been good for fishing. We have been able to fish every day since the middle of April. We only missed two days in April this year. Spinners and night crawlers are the bait of choice. The hot spot is around West Sister Island.

The big front slowed the bite for a couple days. It is back on now! Some boats were limited out by 9 AM yesterday. Sea Breeze Charters pulled a 30.8” walleye to recapture the leader board for May big fish contest. Bob Harris caught it while onboard the # 4 boat with Capt. Jim. If it holds for the rest of the month Bob will be $100 richer. If it holds for the year Bob will be $600 richer. Wild Wings Marina puts this contest every year. Our clients have cashed in many times.

Walleye fishing is still great! This is the best spring that we have ever had. The weather has been great and the walleye have been hungry. We have had some trophy small mouth bass too.

Yesterday the limit on walleye went from 4 to 6. We had all of our fish by 9am. Some in the 5lb range. We are still using the hair jigs with no bait. Drifting and bouncing them on the bottom about 1- 2 miles from our marina is the ticket.

The last 3 weeks have been awesome! I took out Don from Illinois Outdoors today and we taped a great show. We had some doubles and triples on film along with some 4 to 5 pound walleye. We took enough fish for a limit in less than an hour. Then we did some catch en release. The lake was calm. I can’t wait to see the film.

Walleye fishing is GREAT. My boat took a limit in about 20 minutes today. Lots of 4 to 5 lb fish are showing up now. The East wind picked up mid morning but all of the boats that got an early start did well. Weather looks good for this upcoming week.

I have been so busy fishing I have not had time to give a report. Last week the Leopold brothers fished with Capt. Dan and boated over 200 walleye a day. Capt. Chris has had all of his fish every morning this week in less than an hour. We are still catching nice 3 to 4 lb fish less than a mile from the marina. This means no running time!

Walleye fishing is great. We have had early limits the last couple days. We have taken a lot of nice walleye in the 4 to 5 lb range. Fishing less than a mile from the marina.

We are back in the water after a long winter. Some of the Sea Breeze Team have caught walleye over the last several days. Some big ones are starting to get hungry. The weather looks great for this week. Walleyes will get even more active in the early part of this week.

Perch are still very active. The walleye and small mouth are starting to turn on. Cool nights are slowly lowering the water temperature.

We are taking limits of yellow perch almost every day. Walleye are slow due to unusually hot weather this summer. They will turn on as soon as it cools off a bit.

Still catching lots of walleye. Most of them are 14.5” to 15.5”. Yesterday I took 2 guys out and we caught about 40 walleye and had 16 nice keepers.

Capt. Ron (Sea Breeze Too) took a limit of nice walleye today with a family from Illinois. Capt. Tom (Sea Breeze Six) boated a 27.5-inch walleye today. All of the walleye were caught casting weapons.

Bass season opened yesterday. We have been taking some nice ones. Lots of them are in the 3.5 to 5 lb. Range. Walleye have slowed down do to the mayflies but we expect them to pick up within the week.

Walleye fishing has been great the last couple weeks. We have been catching between 40 and 100 per day. Most of them are from the 2003-year class. I have never seen so many fish in one-year class. A lot of these fish are 14 to 15 inches. It will be awesome when they get a little bigger. We have had a lot of big ones too. Capt. Ron took a 30-inch trophy Saturday. The Sheep head are hungry too!

The weather is great again today. All the boats are averaging between 20 and 30 walleye per day. The white bass are hot. You could catch 100lbs. A day if you want too. We use twister tails and catch then almost every cast.

We landed a 31.25-inch walleye yesterday. We have had at least one over 28 inches for 6 days in a row. We have had lots of happy fisherman in the last couple weeks.

Fishing is getting back to normal after some cool weather moved in last week. We have had walleye over 28 inches for the last 3 days. Most boats are averaging 25 to 35 keeper walleye per day.

The last week has been good for the most part. We are still taking lots of 4lb plus walleye. It was windy today but the forecast is good for the weekend.

Fishing is still good. The weather has been great for a long time. We are working for the walleye and taking limits on and off. Our biggest walleye was 6 pounds today.

Waves were less than 2 foot. It was a prefect walleye chop. We took a boat limit of 42 walleye today on my boat. All of the Sea Breeze Boats limited out early today. They are still biting on jigs and minnows about a mile from the marina.

Walleye limit went up to 6 per person per day today. We had limit catches on several of our boats. The weatherman was wrong again, it turned out to be a nice weekend on Lake Erie.

The last couple days have been great for walleye. It has been cool but the walleye are still biting. It looks like another good day tomorrow.

We fished this afternoon about one mile from the marina. We took our limit of walleye in about 45 minutes. The biggest was about 5 pounds. The water clarity was good.

Friday was great fishing but the wind started blowing from the Northeast in the afternoon. We canceled the weekend. Hopefully everyone can reschedule.

We had another fantastic day of walleye fishing on Lake Erie. We captured our limit of walleye before 7AM. The biggest today was 7lbs. Still fishing only a mile from the marina.

We had all our fish today in less than a half hour. Catch n release was the program after that. We fished within 1 mile of our marina. Jigs & minnows were the ticket. The day was topped off with a 31inch 11lb. walleye & a 20-inch 5lb. small mouth bass. They are both going to the taxidermist.

We have had limit catches of walleye in less than an hour the last few days. We spend the rest of the day catch n release. Some groups have handled over 100 fish per day. The water is flat calm now and the weatherman is promising us 80 degrees tomorrow.

The weather has been great recently and so has the walleye fishing. Limit catches are no problem. We have seen a couple of trophies too.

We have had a couple good days this week. We limited on 3 to 5 lb. Walleye with no problem. The best thing is they are biting about a ½ mile from our marina in 8 foot of water. Yesterday it was too windy to fish. We are holding off this morning in hopes that this afternoon we can get back on the water.

Ice fishing was great this year. The lake is open out front of the marina, but some chunks of ice are still floating around. Our marina has a lot of ice on it, but we should be able to get the boats in the water next week. Some nice walleye have been caught this week around A can. This year’s outlook is great with the 2003 hatch coming into play mid summer. We will still catch the quality walleye that you have gotten used to along with lots of hungry good eaters.

I pulled the boats out yesterday. We planed on fishing a couple more days but Mother Nature had other ideas. It is time to go duck hunting anyway. We will be catching BIG walleye starting mid March. See you then!!!!!

Fall fishing has been Great. We have had some tough days but we have also had some days that we caught a limit of Perch & a limit of Walleye too. We moved our boats to Huron, Ohio. It is a 30 min. car ride. Lots better than a 2hr boat ride. Some years it is a better fall bite in that deep water. This is one of those years. I still have boats in our marina fishing for Small mouth bass. The bass fishing has also been good the last couple weeks.

This is the best August ever! We are having the best fishing of the year right now. The walleye seem to be moving closer to the marina too. It looks like the walleye my stay active through fall.

The weather is almost too nice. The water temperature is a little cooler than normal. This should keep the fish active longer into the season. Our limit catch of walleye weighed in at 85 lbs today.

We have had some windy cool days for the end of July. Walleye fishing is still great! The yellow perch are starting to fire up too. I predict Aug. will be a great fishing month.

Fishing is back to normal. Our boats took limit catches of walleye the last couple days. We are averaging 2-3 lbs. I think we are back on a roll!

Fishing has been up & down since my last report. I have been fishing every day sometimes 14hrs. Then my computer went on the fritz. I think the mayflies finally backed off. We took limits of walleye on all my boats yesterday morning. The temperatures look like they are going to be normal for the weekend.

Mayflies are everywhere, I can’t remember seeing so many of the carcasses on the water. Walleyes are gorging themselves on them. This has taken a toll on the catch rate the last couple days. This should not last very long.

Today Sea Breeze Three had a boat limit by 9:15 Am. I took a 30” walleye onboard the Sea Breeze 5 boat today. Yes, that’s right we added another boat to the fleet. It is a 34’ Baha Cat. I have been fishing all day and rigging the NEW boat the rest of the night. Hopefully I will be more up to date with the reports in the future.

Walleye fishing is phenomenal. We have been catching nice fish everyday. A long time client told me today, “this is the greatest Lake Erie trip ever”. One of our boxes of walleye (36 fish) weighed in at 112lbs.

Walleye fishing is great. The white perch & drum are starting to get active now too. One of the Sea Breeze boats took a boat limit on one drift yesterday afternoon.

It has been great since my last update. We are still catching limits of NICE WALLEYE. We have been catching them on bottom bouncers and harnesses or weapons tipped with night crawlers.

Walleye fishing has been up & down for a week or so. Yesterday they started feeding again. We took boat limits yesterday! This looks like a great weekend coming up.

Limit catches of nice 3-4lb walleye today. We fished 2miles from the marina. It has been cool on the lake but it looks like warmer weather is coming.

The walleye were hungry again today! The limit goes to 6 per person (no possession) tomorrow. A walleye limit of 6 will not change till March 1st.

Yesterday was our first really tough day. Hard southwest winds made the boats drift too fast. The waves were small since we fished close to shore.

We have had some tough weather but, the fishing has been GREAT all week!

We taped a fishing show with Illinois Outdoors Tuesday. We fished close to home again. Plenty of 3 to 5 lb. Walleye. It has been a great spring so far.

We caught our limit in one hour today. We sorted the rest of the day and our biggest was 291/2”.

Windy weather slowed the bite down some the last couple days. Nice weather today brought clearer water and lots of walleye. Looks like a great weekend coming up.

Walleye averaging 3 to 5 lb. were the norm the last few days. Limits have been taking less than one hour. We took a 32” walleye yesterday. We have had several other big ones too. Today the weather slowed the bite down some. My first boat to limit out was Sea Breeze Three @ 10am. I will take that any day! The walleye are within one mile of our marina.

Despite some windy days, we are still catching limits of walleye everytime we go out. We caught several BIG ones too. I expect it to get even better soon!

We have been limiting out with about a 5lb average on walleye. This has been going on for about a week. If you like to jig fish or blade bait for walleye, NOW is the time come to Lake Erie.

West winds of up to 45mph and temps to 70 today will take care of the little ice that was left. As soon as the wind dies boats will hit the water. Years like this usally produce TROPHY WALLEYE the end of March & April.

The ice is very unsafe do to ice cutters. Some fishermen with airboats are having limited success( 1 or 2 fish). We will start fishing as soon as the ice breaks up. The end of March and April is the time to catch TROPHY WALLEYE.
